Style and Submission Requirements


Submission deadline
Style
  • Adhere to the 15th and 16th edition of the Chicago Manual of Style to format your manuscript.
General Articles and Research Manuscripts
  • Conference papers should be submitted in the form of a research article for a scholarly journal, between 5,000 and 8,000 words long including footnotes.
  • All manuscript submissions should be in a Word ".doc" file or in a Word-compatible file with top, bottom, left and right margins set to one inch, Times New Roman 12 point font, and double spaced.
Tables, Figures and Images
  • Place any tables or figures in-column where they should appear. Number all tables and figures in the order that they are mentioned in the text.
  • Ensure that all tables are mentioned in text.
  • Tables and figures should relate directly to the content of the manuscript and should not repeat information given in the text.
  • Figures should fit on one page.
  • Tables should not exceed one page.
  • Do not place table or figure titles inside the table or figure.
  • Submit any images as separate hi-res files with the manuscript. Highlight where in-text the images should appear.
Cover Page and Title
  • Authors must include a cover page for each manuscript.
  • The cover page should include the title of the manuscript and the name, address, phone number, email address, and institutional affiliation of each author.
  • Title of the manuscript should not be longer than 12 words.
Abstract
  • An abstract describing the manuscript should be included on a separate page.
  • The abstract must be less than 120 words.
  • Please follow the Chicago Manual of Style guidelines when writing the abstract.
